Yes, this is Tic Tac Toe, but you are allowed to pick any 3, regardless of whether they are in the same row, column or diagonal.
News Geek (Maybe)
Watch the news with their closed captioning and no sound. Notice the time gap, and the lack of information in the captions.
History Teacher
Teach a family member or a friend about Deaf History, culture, and etiquette, and teach them how to sign their names.
Mini Beethoven
No listening to music or video sound for a day (24 hours). When watching a video, use captions, or try to read their lips.
Lightning Fingers
Video tape yourself signing the alphabet under 60 seconds (1 minute), numbers 1-30 under 60 seconds, and introduce yourself (no time limit).
Sound of Silence
Watch a movie or a musical with no sound and with captions on. Try noticing the hardships of watching the words and the action of the movie.
Genetics
Have a silent meal with your family, not having any sound on, or having any vocal conversation. Try having basic conversation in sign language.
TeleWatch
Video call a friend or family member, and put earplugs in. Try to read their lips, and notice how speech has become less articulate and harder to read.
Back in Time
You are a student who goes to Gallaudet University, and you want a Deaf President NOW. Create a poster and film yourself giving a speech at the protest.
Deaf Picasso
Create a piece of deaf art, either explaining the struggles of the deaf community or showing the comforts of a smaller, tighter minority community.
Optional: Can replace any on the board (Note; do not do this if you don’t want to go out in public)
Order food at a restaurant as a deaf person and have a silent meal
